The Best Of Roxy Music will be released on vinyl for the first time

Roxy Music announced the reissue The best of Roxy music via Virgin/UMC on September 2. This will be the first time the career-spanning Roxy Music collection will be available on vinyl.

Roxy Music announced in March that Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson would reunite for the first time since their sold-out, critically acclaimed 2011. At your service tour, will perform ten shows in arenas across the United States and Canada, before hitting British shores in October.

2022 is a landmark year for the band, celebrating both the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking self-titled debut album and 40 years since their eighth and final studio album, Avalonreached number one on the UK charts when it was released in 1982.

Each of the band’s eight studio albums will be reissued as special anniversary vinyl editions with a new mid-speed cut, revised artwork and a deluxe gloss laminate finish. Roxy Music, For your pleasure, failed and country life are all out now, the remaining albums will arrive in pairs throughout the year.
