The day was all about Barbara Streisand, but Chris Martin seemed to take inspiration from the slightly less theatrical Roxy Music as he attended the singer’s 80th birthday party on Monday.
The Coldplay star was joined by his girlfriend Dakota Johnson while helping Streisand celebrate at his Malibu home, where they joined a small gathering of celebrity guests.
On a hot day in the Southern California enclave, Chris, 45, wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the words Love Is The Drug – the title of British band Roxy Music‘s iconic 1975 single.

Following health and safety guidelines, he covered his instantly recognizable features with a face mask, while gray joggers and a trucker cap topped things off.
Accompanying her boyfriend, Dakota, 32, wore a button-up white sundress with orange flats, keeping a black jumper over her shoulders in case the weather got colder.
The celebrity couple, who have been linked since 2017, spent around two hours at the Streisand home on the day of the celebration.

Chris and Dakota have largely kept their four-year relationship out of the spotlight, but the American actress recently shed some light on their romance.
Speaking in the new issue of ELLE magazine, the movie star admitted she was happy to keep their relationship out of the public eye, admitting most of their parties are at home.
She said: ‘We’ve been together for quite a while and we go out sometimes, but we both work so hard that it’s nice to be home and be cozy and private. Most of the parties are held inside my house.”

Chris recently sold his stunning Malibu home, which he shared with Dakota Johnson, for $14.4m (£10.7m).
The sale comes just over a year after the property was purchased for $12.5m (£9.3m) in October 2020.
He made an impressive $1.9m (£1.4m) profit on the sale, which reportedly “bought another house a few blocks away” for $14m (£10.5m). pounds) with more privacy.
